Distressed 3D frame

Hello friends ....

As u all know we have a collaboration this month I.e. Art Studio by Apexa and Hands to heart by Shrishti Arora.... and we will be creating some really cool and fun projects together on our YouTube channels.

Have created very first project by keeping this colour theme challenge by Art daily cafe this month..... the colour scheme is really cool and one of my favourite too🥰🥰🥰

So let me just share a pictorial for my project though I have a video Tutorial on this ( https://youtu.be/rbz-ptqSpgs ) but this one is for my those friends who all really love to read blogs....

Steps to follow:

Step 1 : Cut 4 squares of size 6" x 6" from Kraft sheets with circular nested dies as shown in the picture

Step 2 : Emboss all four squares with different embossing folders
STEP 3 : Stick all 4 squares with foam tapes to create dimensions to give 3D look to the frame keeping the smallest circle at the lowest place.
Step 4: paint the complete frame with two shades i.e. Teal and brown and blend them properly....I have used
 1. Teal blue
2. Brown shade

Step 5 :  Take sand paper and rub it  the frame to give distressed look
Step 6 : once u get ur required distressed effects can take a distress oxide ink -  Shade "Vintage Photo" and distressed edges of the frame further
You will get some really cool effects by doing this

Step 7. Can decorate the frame with some artificial flowers and leaves.... I have used red flowers and some golden fillers to match with my photos
Step 8 : Was feeling that the frame is incomplete without some corners so stocked these filigree with Glossy Accent
And finally I could get this really vintage look to my frame.... friends hope u have enjoyed the process....

If u wanna take part in Art daily cafe than above is the link ....will come up with some more cool projects this month..... stay tuned.... happy Crafting 🥰🥰🥰🥰

GDT post for Kraft+ --Traditional house organiser

Hi friends....
This is Apexa from Art Studio by Apexa
Hope u all are doing good... Wishing you all a very happy and bright new year ahead. ...

I would like to thank you dear Paula Perry from kraft+ community to give me this opportunity to create such a wonderful piece as a Guest Designer of her blog.
Sharing step by step pictorial for this horse organiser with traditional Dot painting work on it

1. Firstly I draw the hourse shape on my Kraft sheet which I doubled and cut that shape keeping one thing in mind that from the head part it is joining. From rest of the scratches i also took circular die cuts in different sizes.
2. I arranged those circular die cuts as shown below. For the bigger ones I also used foam tape to give some dimensions

3.I also made a rectangle box from the chipboard and covered it with the Kraft paper. I distressed the ages with Aged Mahogany and start putting black dots with ball tool
 4. I used different sizes of ball tools to create different sizes of Dots on my project
5.Further I continued putting dots in different sizes and colours to create this wonderful outputs...
I must share this feeling while Making this artwork that sometimes one should break the rules and have to listen to the heart.... this Dot painting I have done for the first time without following any rules... I simply picked colours whichever came to my mind and start putting them on the surface...I truly enjoyed this as it's very much stress free and can bring your concentration in you!!!!

Hope you have enjoyed the process of making this beautiful project and also give some inspirations to create something like this!!!!

Thank you for stopping on my blog!!!!
Happy crafting💖💖

Kraft dolls

Hi friends...

Wishing u a very happy New year and a bright year ahead!!!!

New year starts with all positive thoughts... There is nothing powerful as mothers love and nothing as healing as a child's soul
Mom and kid..... one of the most beautiful bond you will ever see... she protects her child, teaching them how to love, watching them grow into something promising... no matter how old they gets...kids are her babies always!!! And I dedicate this project to one of the most beautiful bond in the world is that a mom and her kid....

To create this beauty  I used Kraft sheets and cut them into two different size square. And to decorate it with dot painting I used my dot tools in different sizes. To put dots I used different Acrylic paints.
I Draw few circles with the help of different sizes of bottle caps and starj putting dots with different sizes and colours

I created some free hand pattern
After it dries I put two tacky tapes on opposite ends to create cones out of it

I also made embossed strips to give final touch up with the edges... I distressed it and also put some dots on it and sticked it to the cones I made

Prepared different size circles with black cardstock to put it as faces of the dolls. Just put two small cuts on the neck part and passed these circles on this slits.

Hope u like the process if u still have any doubt or queries I would love to answer those... so leave some love in comment section below.... thank you so much for taking time to read my blog!!!!

Happy Crafting!!!
